Moving into a previously occupied home or apartment?
A Certificate of Occupancy (CO) inspection is required for new City residents before moving into a previously occupied home or apartment. It is performed by the Building Inspector.

PLEASE NOTE: The CO inspection must pass BEFORE the City will turn on the water or authorize electric/gas service.

Inspections are performed from 8:00-4:00 the next business day following receipt of payment. We do not make appointments. The Inspection Fee is $80.00.
